I haven't played because Population Growing, but that I can't agree more that fresh horizons certainly feels like it is missing that spark. I wish Nintendo would upgrade it more but a) it is Nintendo in 2020 exactly what exactly do we expect? And b) I understand that game development is cluttered right now what with all the global pandemic. It boggles my mind that games like Super mario maker get these huge upgrades (not that I'm complaining) but games that seem like the most natural match for additional down the road content like ACNH and Mario Party feel like complete afterthoughs. I frankly got bored with New Leaf much quicker. I overlook the Nintendo themed furniture however. I know they would not be playable like the original AC but I want to place a SNES in my home! I mean, even just taking a look at the state of the stores atm NL had all of the buildings on main road with like a type of"questline" for them set up and enlarged NH has one upgrade for the nookling store, the ables, the memorial (+"update" (which was just becoming it on-par again using what the museum already had formerly )) and that is it. Did the older games not possess terraforming? Perhaps that is why Nintendo couldn't add all the excess things to NH. I am able to see how integrating terraforming to Ac be time consuming. If the previous games didn't have it then yeah, it's like they are making a whole new game. Nintendo gave us the ability to make our island. Mario manufacturer but ac variant. I guess that is why we are getting updates within the new 2-3 years? I wish it had been updates till NH gets into the NL level of articles. Yeah I'm thinking it's something about the outdoors being malleable and letting decorations. This is the first game that let you do that. In the older games, you can just put furniture in your home (one had any rooms you can rent at the memorial.) I feel like I have more room and can do more things with it, I guess?
